John deere s220 vs s120

Issues with John Deere S120 starting. I was mowing my yard a week or so ago when I was making a turn and re-engaged the blades the metal arm that controls tension on the cable sheared off. I got a new one from the dealer and installed no problems. Now I cannot get the thing started, or even attempting to turn over.
