Tenicor Velo4: I was so wrong! I had the chance to pick up a Velo 4 2nd hand many months ago. Being a south paw, is was a steal. Initially I hated the wedge. The pressure on my pelvis was just too much for daily. I threw it in the pile.It’s basically the same thing but it doesn’t have the body contour wedge (I’ve had bad luck with wedges). It’s adjustable so can be used at appendix or 4:30. And the best part is the lux. Lux is Latin for light. I have the velo 4. This might be a hot take but I think hindsight I woulda bought the velo 4 for the 48. The 43x velo feels a little too short for me, the extra length would put the kydex wedge in a more comfortable spot for me than basically my hip bone.SHOPPING TIME! I was given the Velo for Christmas (early present) and wore it for a month. It was my second attempt at carrying AIWB. The wedge wasn’t fitting me well. I decided to try the Certum. Thankfully Jeff at Tenicor graciously agreed to let me write a Velo holster review and sent one out at no charge. The Velo comes in three Glock-compatible versions: a Glock 17 that also works with the Glock 19, one for longer Glocks like the 17 and 34, and a Glock 43 model, as well as other models for those who haven’t seen the Austrian light.On a side note although Tenicor lists that the holster only works with the C-FS models, I was able to use a SC grip module. It worked just fine, even though it has a rounded trigger guard. The Velo conceals extremely well. The Velo comes ready to accept an optic, threaded barrel or suppressor height sights.
