Piss poor, yea sure there are some weapons but nothing compared to the gun shop. The best stuff is the military clothing/backpack (and helmet) cause of the extra protection and carry weight. Now I didn’t stay long enough to make a base but food isn’t really there unless you clear out the dense forest and start a farm.

I reached the wood and drove through it, periodically leaving the truck to clear the path ahead of zombies. First you would have to kill every zombie there (a LOT of zombies) and the road there is agonising to drive on, but it's a good place to settle and live off farming/foraging and not traveling as much. It's really a 1/10 base. Maybe 2/10, as it at least has a mostly intact wall.
